Hi there and thanks for your interest in Stitchopedia.
Would you like a free copy of Stitchopedia? Cool! I am looking to add more patterns to the application. So if you do the following, I will send you a promotional code for a free copy of the app:
1) find a stitch pattern that I do not have in the app. If you are unsure, email me at ben.rimbey@gmail.com
2) knit an example swatch of the pattern, preferably a 4″x4″ swatch
3) email the pattern directions and image to me.
4) That’s it! I will email you a code for a free copy of the app
I made Stitchopedia for my wife and her good friend as a utility to aid them in their knitting efforts. Since then the app has taken off and the interest in it has been far greater than I had anticipated. I am working on new features, such as adding images, and making it a universal app with iPad support. However, my mobile apps are definitely a side project that I do at night, after my two young children are asleep, and my available time is very tightly constrained. I would love to be able to devote 5x the amount of time that I do now to this work, but at this point in time I just can’t. In the meantime, I do appreciate everyone’s patience!

I love this app! Just wondering if there’s a way to report errors if we find them. (For example: inc r and inc l have the same text; I believe inc l is incorrect). Thanks again for all your hard work, this was a good buy!
Hi Kate!
I am glad you are finding the app useful
Thank you for letting me know about that issue – I will look into it for the next update.
You can also email issues to me at ben.rimbey@gmail.com
Thanks again!
Hi, I just bought the app and am glad to have it. I’m driving back home from Calif. to Florida and would like to choose a stitch for a project. I also have a moment in time where I forget a st. pattern & think this will help me all the time. I’ve been knitting for yrs. but I really need this as I have gotten to this state of mind.
Thank you! God Bless Linda
Hi Linda
Thank you for letting me know that this app is helping you with your projects. This kind of feedback really makes all of the time and effort I’ve put into this worth it
Thanks again, and I hope you have a safe trip home.
How many stitches are provided? Thanks!
there are currently 109
I have plans to add more too!
